Meditation goes beyond optimism. Meditation is the practice of strengthening one’s awareness or focusing one’s mind for a span of time. It is the constant process of training the mind to focus and redirect your thoughts. It expands the consciousness of yourself and your environment. It illuminates that by creating space and stillness inside, we can experience the peace and joy of our soul.
My sweet childhood memories… whenever I saw my grandpa sitting with eyes closed, I thought he was sleeping . One day, I went closely to him and keenly observed him. Then he gently opened his eyes…I slowly asked him “What are you doing Thatha (Grandpa) ?” “I am seeing the Lord Shiva…ma” he gently answered. Then I thought if we keep our eye closed with cross leg, we can see lord Shiva. Then I sat in a place and closed my eyes, eagerly waited to see the lord Shiva. I was waiting and waiting …I saw only the cotton candies, sweets , halwas, gulab jamoons and my school books. Years later …Now…I can see the lord Shiva when I close my eyes…but I can’t see my grandpa…definitely time teaches you everything…back to topic

Meditation needs focusing your awareness on one object. It is good to practice daily for 20-30 minutes. It is ideal to practice meditation in a quiet and clean place, sitting in a comfortable position with your back straight.
1. Focus on your breath. Start with a few deep and slow breaths to provoke a calm response in your sense organs.
2. Concentrate on your third eye or center of your chest to focus your mind and start to connect its energy.

An object that you find boosting- for instance light, an open space, a flower, the sun or the ocean.
